Alright, so I bought this watch because I have this problem where I break out in a rash on my wrist when I wear watches that are too tight. So I figured this one is nice and loose, and it should serve my purpose. Well, it turned out to be true.

There were some major problems though…it’s very hard to set the time. It has two tiny buttons on the bottom that you have to use a pen tip to push. Once in a while, and I’m still not sure how, but the watch would reset itself, and it would end up being hours off.

Also, my final complaint is that after only a little over a month of wearing it, it broke when I was taking it off before I took a shower. I deffinitely wouldn’t recomend this watch to anyone.

I bought this through Amazon about a month ago and love it. I can wear it with anything really, due to the abundance of Livestrong type bracelets that people wear these days (and many people comment that that’s what they thought it was until they looked more closely). It definitely catches people’s eye and I get asked about it constantly. I have worn it to the gym several times and it survived that with no issues. If it weren’t for the flash seam in the rubber (it’s not totally smooth) I would give it 5 stars.

Nice work-out watch, but very poor time-setting mechanism, December 6, 2009

I bought a handful of these as gifts. It’s a nice watch to wear when working out. However, one of them broke immediately when trying to set the time. I don’t think much thought went into putting the time-setting mechanism on the back of the watch, using little tiny inset buttons that test your patience, requiring numerous taps with a regular ink pen to set the time. You can’t tell how many minutes you have set without looking at the front, and you can’t push the buttons without looking at the back. If not for the tiny inset time-setting buttons I would give this a better rating, because if you don’t break it setting the time you would probably like it if you like the way it looks. A large is a tight fit at first getting it over a man’s hand, but it stretches a bit and then fits loosely on the wrist. So I give four stars to the ones that worked, and zero to the one that didn’t.
