Since “the big corporate takeover” I find that it doesn’t really matter what products customers request on a local level. All that matters is what “corporate” dictates. While I used to try to support local businesses, I have now almost completely stopped shopping at both Wal-Mart and Target because the local stores are forced to cater to corporate whims instead of being able to serve their customers’ needs. It is nice to be able to order the coffee I want from Amazon and have it shipped to my door.
